American Photographer and photojournalist's real name was Arthur Felig. He was Polish born and moved to New York at the age of 10.After working in various studios and doing darkroom work for Newspapers he became a freelance news photographer. He earned the reputation for being the first on the scene. Highlights were a LIFE Magazine feature about him, the publication of his first book THE NAKED CITY, and the exhibition of his work at New York's Museum of Modern Art.
