THE WORLD's GREAT PHOTOGRAPHERS Robert Doisneau 1912-1994   Le Baiser de Hotel de Ville Paris, 1950 Doisneau The French Photographer Doisneau was born in Gentilly, Val-de-Marne on april 14 1912, and was noted for his depictions of Paris street life.  One of his most renouned pictures is Le baiser de l'hotel de ville - a photo of Francoise Bornet and Jacques Carteaud kissing in the street in Paris, taken in 1950.
