GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM New York
The
Guggenheim Museum has
a significant collection of art of Kandinsky, Picasso, Brancusi
and Chagall, Arp, Beuys, Bourgeois, Cezanne, Flavin, Mapplethorpe,
Pollock, Rothko, Rauschenberg, Serra, van Gogh and Warhol.
All housed in a landmark building
designed by Frank Lloyd Wright it was completed in 1959, opened
to the public in October. An addition designed by W Gwathmey Siegel
& Associates has added four additional floors of exhibition
space and two floors of office space. Guggenheim Museum SoHo is
a loft building designed by Arata Isozaki, in 1993*
