Sir Alfred Hitchcock was born in London in 1899. He studied engineering, and directed his first film in 1925. A master
of suspense and intricate plots his films included The Thirty-Nine Steps (1935), The Lady Vanishes (1938) Rebecca (1940), Psycho (1960), The Birds (19630, and Frenzy (1972) His trademark was a cameo role in most of his films.

PSYCHO was adapted from the novel by Robert Block which was inspired by the activities of the real-life Wisconsin murderer Ed Gein. Gein kept the body of his long-dead mother in his isolated family home, and killed females eating
parts of their bodies!
Psycho (1960) was directed by Alfred Hitchcock and adapted by Joseph Stefano for UNIVERSAL
Psycho (1998) was directed by Gus Van Sant, adapted by Joseph Stefano for UNIVERSAL
The 1960 Movie was sht quickly on a limited budget and stared Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh and Vera Miles. The
1980 Movie stars Anne Heche, William H Macy, and Vince Vaughn
