Spanish Artist Dali was born in Figueras, Spain and influenced by the 15th century artist Hieronymous Bosch. He studied art in Madrid, and became the most famous of the Surrealist artists. He joined the Surrealist movement and by 1929 was including symbolic images into his art which was a Surrealist trait. As well as painting he worked in film including with directors Luis Bunuel and Alfred Hitchcock.
