1879-1970

Of the Lindsay family of 10 children, 5 made distinguised contribution to Australian Art and Literature. Born at Creswick in Victoria Norman Lindsay received a world-wide reputation as an illustrator. The best of his drawings, etchings and watercolors were usually derived from literary sources.
